Privacy Policy
TryAIgame is a directory of games made with AI. There are no accounts, no ads and no cookies. This page explains the little data we do handle.
Who we are
TryAIgame (tryaigame.com) is run by an individual based in Japan, not a company. For anything about privacy, email hello@tryaigame.com. If you need the operator’s name and postal address, ask and we’ll provide them.
When you visit
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We don’t receive these individual request logs; we only see overall traffic numbers. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy applies to its processing.
- No cookies. TryAIgame doesn’t set cookies, and doesn’t use local storage or any other way to recognize you between visits. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Analytics. We don’t track individual visitors. If we add visit counting, it will be a cookieless service that only gives us totals (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics), and we’ll update this page first.
- Posts from X. Some game details have a Show post button. Nothing loads from X until you click it. When you do, your browser loads X’s embed script, and X may set cookies and receive data about your visit under its own privacy policy.
- Links to games. The games listed here live on other sites — itch.io, Steam, GitHub, creators’ own sites and more. When you click Play or any other outside link, that site’s privacy policy applies. We don’t add tracking codes to these links, though the site you visit may see that you came from TryAIgame.
When you email us
Email is the only way to reach us — for submissions, corrections, problem reports and removal requests. When you write, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever is in your message.
We use it to reply and to act on your request, such as reviewing a game you sent or removing a listing. We keep these emails as long as we need them for that and to keep a record of what we listed or removed and why, then delete them. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t share your email with anyone except the email provider that stores and delivers it for us.
Information about game creators
Each listing describes a game and the person or team who made it, using what’s already public: the creator’s name or handle, links to their profiles, and what they’ve said publicly about how they made the game — in a launch post, a README or a store page, for example. We publish this to credit creators and describe their work accurately.
If you made a game listed here, you can ask us to correct, update or remove anything about you or your game at any time, no reason needed: use Request removal in the game’s details or email hello@tryaigame.com. We hide the listing as soon as we get a removal request and finish within 72 hours.
Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)
We handle personal data based on our legitimate interests in running and protecting the site, crediting creators and describing their games, and answering the messages people send us. Posts from X load only with your consent, which you give by clicking Show post.
Where data is processed
We’re based in Japan. Cloudflare and our email provider may process data in other countries, including the United States, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@tryaigame.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We don’t sell or share personal information, as those terms are used in California law.
Children
TryAIgame is for a general audience and isn’t aimed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. Some listed games aren’t suitable for younger players, so check each game before playing.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
